The One Dive Center Joins the Global Green Fins Initiative

Together for a Cleaner, Healthier Ocean

At The One Dive Center, we believe that protecting our marine environment is not just a responsibility — it is part of who we are. As divers, the sea is our home, our classroom, and our inspiration. That’s why we are proud to announce that The One Dive Center has officially joined the Green Fins global initiative, supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

This international program promotes sustainable diving and snorkeling practices that reduce the negative impact of tourism on coral reefs and marine life. Becoming a Green Fins member marks an important step in our ongoing commitment to protecting the underwater world we love so deeply.

We believe that real change happens through organized and scientific work, and this is exactly what we aim to achieve through this partnership. To strengthen our efforts, we are honored to welcome Dr. Amani Al-Zaidan, a respected researcher and environmental expert, to The One Dive Center team. Her supervision, guidance, and both moral and financial support have been invaluable in shaping and encouraging this initiative within our center.

With Dr. Amani’s expertise and our team’s dedication, we look forward to raising environmental awareness among divers and visitors, promoting eco-friendly practices, and contributing to the long-term sustainability of Kuwait’s marine ecosystem.
